GREEN COCONUT WATER
"Yes ma'am, do you want something?"
"Green coconut water"
That little boy selling it all
With his mom and dad.
His elder brother went for delivery.
Another ma'am came,
Asking for green coconut,
She asked for who sells corn?
"I am the corn seller" said that boy again.
Hard to share that essence in this language
I feel, I smile even in a bad mood.
Started walking on the way
Leading to my room
With a crowd of thoughts.
In a funny mood I was then,
He called me "ma'am" when I was no different to him.
Might be a word of respect or monetary superiority.
His cute voice got me I mesmerised "I am the corn seller".
My sad evening was no more.
See, for how long I will remember?
Yet, in this poem, I, forever.
Today I will go again.
